Make a deck of two-sided cards, study it by flipping, and give a copy to the whole class with one link or a QR code on the board.
Open Flashcards See all classroom tools
Free. This link opens the tool straight away, with no sign-up.
How it works
- Open Flashcards, press Create and give the deck a name.
- Add cards: the front is the question or word, the back is the answer or meaning.
- Press Study. Tap a card to flip it, then choose Got it or Again; cards marked Again come back later in the same session. Shuffle mixes the order.
- Press Share for a link and a QR code. Anyone who opens the link or scans the code can add a copy of the deck to their own browser. Print QR puts the code on paper.
Ideas for your lesson
- Show the QR code at the end of a lesson so students take the new vocabulary home on their phones.
- Post the share link in your class chat or learning platform.
- Ask students to build a deck for a topic and swap links with a partner.
Good to know
- Decks are saved in the browser you made them in. Nothing is stored on a server: a shared deck travels inside the link itself.
- Very large decks do not fit in a QR code; the tool then offers the link only.
- Clearing your browser data deletes your decks, so keep the share link as a backup.
- The page loads its font from Google Fonts and the QR code library from cdn.jsdelivr.net, besides www.abcwebsites.online.
