Multiple choice
Phones get coloured tap buttons. The screen shows live bars with counts and percentages.
Word cloud
Students type short words. Frequent words appear larger. Italian and English filler words filtered out.
Open text
Full sentence answers, streamed to the screen as cards as they arrive.
Scale
A slider from any number to any number, with words you choose for the low and high end.
How a class uses it
- Open the tool, click Start a new poll.
- Type your question; add more if you like.
- Click Show on screen, a 5-letter code and QR appear.
- Students scan the QR or type the code on their phones.
- Use Next to move through the questions.
Questions teachers ask
Is Quick Poll free?
Yes. Building, previewing and hosting polls is free. The teacher signs in once with a Google account to host a poll live or to save it; students never need an account.
Do students need an account or an app?
No. They scan the QR code or type the 5-letter code in the browser on their phone.
Which question types can I use?
Multiple choice, word cloud, open text and scale, in any order, with Next to move through them.
Can I keep the results?
Yes. Save as PDF or Save as spreadsheet from the screen view. Signed-in teachers can also save polls to run again.
Will it work on the school network?
It needs www.abcwebsites.online, the ntfy.sh relay that carries the answers, code libraries from cdn.jsdelivr.net, d3js.org and unpkg.com, and Google sign-in for the teacher. Answers pass through ntfy.sh, a public relay, so use it for classroom questions, not confidential surveys.
Is it available in Italian?
Yes. The interface is in English or Italian.
