How it works

  1. Add a PNG, JPG or SVG image, ideally square and at least 512 by 512 pixels.
  2. Choose a background colour or keep it transparent, and set the corner radius.
  3. Download each size or press Download all PNGs, then press Copy for the head snippet.

Ways to use it

  • Give a class project website its own icon in the browser tab.
  • Make the home-screen icon for a small business site.
  • Pair it with the Image Optimizer to prepare the rest of a site’s images.

Good to know

  • Sizes: 16, 32 and 48 pixel favicons, a 180 pixel Apple touch icon and 192 and 512 pixel app icons.
  • It does not make a favicon.ico file; most browsers now use the 32 pixel PNG.
  • Images are processed in your browser and never uploaded. Anonymous usage counts go to Plausible analytics.
  • It needs only www.abcwebsites.online.
